Hi guys ...

I'm writing from italy only to make a warning about Z1auto and Adam...



I've bought from him a lot of items for my Evo, for my old Z33.... now i also own a wonderful NSX and so i thought to buy from him a set of Tein coilovers, a steering hub and a Personal steering wheel....



I've made the payment in October 2010 ... today i still have nothing...only a LOT of lies!!!

 

I've never seen any bad feedback about Z1/Adam...

Are you sure you're not leaving out a few details?

Im in for all sides of the story...

 

I' ve bought from him tons of items for my z33, for my evo7 and for my nsx for a total of over 20000 euro... Now i've paid(october 2010) also the coilover kit, the hub and the steering wheel but no items shipped... Only a lot of different lies...

Yeah, give us the details. Exactly what was said and what happened?

 

I've emailed you the latest info I had available a little while ago, on this portion of the order (the rest of the order you received a while ago). I was out sick a few days so playing a bit of catch up on emails and such, but I have another steering wheel setup I can send to you as well, (though we already sent one of these setups to our supplier to be included with the coilovers). If my supplier is not able to get us the details we've been waiting on by the end of the week, we will issue the refund for you for the coilovers and just send the steering wheel setup out.

 

IMO Adam is the best vendor on this site, and it's not even close. I'm sure he'll get you taken care of.

 

I just highly doubt this is how Adam would ever do business.

For the past i m absolutely agree with you (tons of parts bought)... For the last six months no (same iussue for other italian z owners)...
In october a bit time after i've placed he tolds me that the coilovers were the first parts that were sitting around his desk... In april i still dont have them... By the way after today news (thanks my350z.com) i hope for the best in this week... Items shipped or total refund... I ll keep you posted guys...

I am dealing with Adam right now with Wheels. Which were pushed back 2 more months ( I assume because of Japan's activities ) But Adam has kept or at least tried to keep me updated. Hope it all ends well for both parties.

 

in my past experiences with Adam and Z1auto, they have always been reliable and dependable.

thanks guys for your comments... it seems that now after my post (wow!!!) the things are going better... i will let you know about the end of the story...

+1 Adam has always been responsive to me.

 

Seems like someone is impatient. Somethings are out of vendors hands, which is obviously the case here. I bought things from Adam that were custom ordered from Japan and I had to wait over 3 months for them to be shipped to the states. Z1 always was quick to respond to an e-mail or phone call and give me a status up date. I doubt that has changed.

 

It's good to see the vendor chime in and let everyone know what's going on. But a 6 month wait for a set of teins is pretty ridiculous...

 

I too have had an order take a long time to come through. BUT, Adam was always quick to reply to my emails, keeping me updated on progress. Will not hesitate to order from them again!

 

I am sure Adam will clear up your issues. I have known Adam personally over 10 years. I wouldn't be surprised your issue is the NSX parts are just not readily available i.e Special Order as say a Evo or Z Coilover System.
