Default idle (not smooth) question? (tt setup)

i just got my greddy twin turbo installed and now my idle is really jumpy. also when im just cruising at at a low rpm my car like spudders. is this because of my 440 injectors or what? i also have the aam fuel sytem, aam reflash, and test pipes. what do you guys think my problem is? thanks

if they disconnected the TB plug during the install, it could be as simple needing to reset the ecu.. here are the procedures.. hope its that simple.. else somebody with the greddy kit can help

It's not normal, the Greddy kit idles like stock. It sounds like a vacum leak. Look around the intake manifold. Another possibility is the injectors are not seated properly and air is leaking around the lower o-rings.

If they didn't mess with the emanage then it sounds like a vacumm problem, they need to check all of the lines that got installed tapping into the vacumm

how jump and sputtery is the idle? Just a little bit...or really jumpy. Really jump is a vaccuum leak..most likely. A tad rougher...at times...is normal.

Mine jumps from 580-720 and you can also feel it shake when the rpm rises. I am having the same issure and on the passenger side engine, I hear a sound, sounding like an air leak. Dunno what it is and the shop doesnt know what it is and cant find a leak. Can it be the injectors not sitting right?

my idle rpm bounced around between 5.5 and 6.5. On cruise @ 2000-2200 rpm the engine felt like it was stumbling. Cause = plugs. The gap on one plug had closed up.

I had the same issue before I had the FCON. Mine was due to the fact that the car was running extremely rich at idle. Sometime as rich as 12.0. This was causing the car to sputter at idle sometimes. I also had the issue while cruising. Sounds like the flash may not have trimmed the injectors back enough when off boost. Do you have a WBO2. If so, what is it reading at idle?

I've been having the same problem all year. I've reseated the injectors, replaced the intake gaskets, swapped coils, I still can't figure it out. The only thing I can think of is the plugs, but it's too cold out now to mess with it. I'm gonna put it away and wait until next year to figure it out. It's not running rich, it's right at 14.7 at idle. It will misfire and you can feel the motor shake real bad. Someone also mentioned it could be the walbro, but I have not explored that either. I can't figure it out, and it's really pissing me off.

This sounds like more an injector problem..not a vaccum leak.

Also, the sounds you mentioned coming from the engine..that sounds like the exhuast I have had for the past several months. Could be coming from the manifold or the wastgate...two common leak areas.
