Default JWT TT status

Thought I'd start this thread since their site said plan release early 2005 and that they were in the final process of cert-last updated 9/04.

Anyone know more about this?

hey JWT, I think it's time to start letting out some info..

yeah, i wouldn't mind some info about this. Althought I have a feeling it is going to be fairly expensive like the APS and PE kits.

It's been said many times already but when I spoke to them their exact words when I asked them a price range were "It will be in the high 6's" They said the ecu flash is part of the kit, and it will have dual bypass valves, one for each turbo, instead of a blow off valve.

Thanks for the info.. But I'm still curious about any more 'recent' updates? Like, any anticipated release date? What about carb cert? These have not been addressed by them for A LONG time.

It will be around $6800 and they are not going to release it until they get CARB certification. And that won't happen until they crack the ECU and make their own program that CARB agrees with.

They don't address it because they don't know!

That's fine. But an update like "still working on it" is all we need.

Silence without updates occasionally leads to poor sales longterm because those who bought another system-ie APS, turbonetics, etc, might have waited for JWT if they just had some updates occasionally to keep interest.

APS is a great example of someone coming here often giving feedback. That's what we need ALOT more of and that makes for good business.

I don't think I'm asking for too much.

BTW, how do you know they haven't cracked the code yet? Do you have more info to share with us?

The above response to myself was actually directed toward you.

Thanks for any info you can provide.

JWT has said that they did the ecu already from what I heard and were waiting for CARB approval. Their estimated date for selling the kit if Jan 2005 and it also says it on their site. I'm going to call them and ask again today because most likely the date will be pushed back.

Since you're calling JWT anyways, can you ask about 03/04 ECUs vs 04.5 (ULEV) ECUs?

Thanks. I saw that on their site. But again, if I recall right, it's dated 9/04.

But whatever, any info we get would be great.

Thanks again for the info about the ECU and CARB approval.
