Default should i be concerned???

so, i have not had any problems with my greddy tt kit, running 8lbs here at 5500ft altitude (knocking on wood as i type this)

i have the common "issues" mentioned commonly on this site... ex: engine turns over for 1-2 seconds periodically before it starts... (really i think that's it-no other "issues")

i've noticed periodically in the past month, certain times, after the car has been sitting for some time, i start the engine and the second the key is turned a semi-loud sound is heard (sounds like someone shutting a phone book hard)...

this morning (25 degrees out, mind you)..i noticed a little bit of smoke coming out of the exhaust in my rear view mirror (wasn't sure if it was because of the cold or what)... i tried to reproduce what i saw to rule in it was just the fact it was so cold out and the hot exhaust was simply visible in the cold-@ss air...but to no avail... nothing else since then, started fine since then, running strong... is this normal, should i be concerned??

i am already planning on rebuilding my motor in feb05 (just thought i'd mention that)

THANKS

I don't think you have anything to worry about as just as you stated it was cold out......Next time get out and put your hand in the smoke and if anything is coming out you will get it on your hand...ie oil/fuel. What I would concern myself with is if you should have this happen after it is warm. You said you couldn't replicate it so I would not be too concerned just watch it...

Todd, I think you are fine. Take two tylenol and call me in the morning.

That long start is pretty normal with the Greddy kit. The RC injectors tend to "drip" at low duty cycle, and since they arent specifically designed for this car, you sometimes get a momentary rich condition at start up. Nothing to worry about.
