btw the car looks good.. hopefully the rebuild will go smoothly

The tranny was actually pretty easy, I reccommend the tranny jack because it's still pretty heavy. I had jack stands on the front and rear end of the car and yes there's plenty of room to work, you probably want to jack it up higher than I have it because I had to lift the front a little more to get the tranny out. I'll have articles on my rebuild including taking off the tranny on my website soon. It's really not that hard though w/ that jack, I got it from Harbor Freight if you have one local that's even better, if not you can order the jack off the net for 129 or so. I'm actually trying to find a engine now. Hope that helps

1. make sure you have the wiring harness all removed and breather hose
2. I dumped the oil because I didn't want it to spill all over my garage by accident
3. remove shift **** and shifter
4. remove cat mount bracket
5. remove rear engine mount member
6. we losened all the tranny bolts except the top two and put the tranny jack under the tranny. If you have TT kit you might have to take off one of the wastegates.
7. take off all the bolts and remove tranny.

here's the tranny jack I used http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...temnumber=3185

Finally got my block and dropped it off at AEBS for some work, not the stroker but the internals build. Previously was going to get it done by SGP but didn't feel it was cheap to spend 900 just on freight so went local and it's cost cheaper for the same work SGP was going to do so even better for me. Also to get the work out of state sort of sucks because they're so far away if something happened and you had to send it back that's another charge just for them to check it out.

I actually scratched that idea going to AEBS and towed my car over to SP Engineering and they will build, install and tune my ride. More updates to come soon

Thanks! I'll be posting some pics as I get to actually pic up my car, it's still at the shop. Yes it's been a very long time, I'm anxious to actually drive the thing.
