Default JWT oil spacer kit PRE-Tapped... who has one?

so, I saw on the JWT site that they are selling the pre tapped spacer that was for their TT setup due to high demand for the product..

I don't know if I am late on this so sorry if I am...

Anyways, I was just wondering who had the pre tapped one because I know there was alot of controversy about tapping the oi spacer kit and it being above sea level.. and their pre-tapped kit has it to where it is above sea level...

anyone have pictures? I would really like to not have to drill a tap if possible, don't want to mess it up..

Cat....with the Vortech...the oil return line needs to be higher than the oil level . Thats why they tap the upper part of the pan . If you decide to take the SC off . You can put a bolt in it to close it off...no biggy

I understand that, but the jwt site says that it has an oil return line that is higher than oil level therefore not having to drill... not worried about tapping into the pan, but a step eliminated if the JWT oil pan kit comes pre tapped above oil level.....

but the spacer just fits between the upper and lower pan . I think they have a J tube to get it above the oil line....but I dont know of any one that has tried it . Maybe some one has and it may or may not work with our SC...dont know

I have the spacer and it is NOT tapped. There are no holes in it, but they could easily be added.

yes, the were selling a JWT spacere kit without it being pre-tapped.

They made a pre-tapped one that was only going to be sold along with the JWT TT kit, but because of demand, they are starting to sell it seperately....

cat...I may have an alternative for you. It was brought up a while back about using a tapped JWT spacer and adding baffles to the stock lower pan. This is essentially a cheap version of the PE and APS oil pans. Last I called JWT they wont sell the JWT pan spacer tapped for returns unless its leaving with their turbo kit. I'm working with another member and a shop right now and we are going to be building one of these oil pans in the next week. Not sure when your install is going to happen but this maybe what you are looking for. Basically it will be the stock lower pan with baffles added and a JWT pan spacer pre-tapped by us for oil return lines. The cost will be much less than the other pans out there. PM me if you want some more info..
