stock tranny and clutch strength
Assuming the engine is strong enough to withstand a well tuned FI system, how about the transmission and clutch? Can these stock components handle up to 400whp? What other parts could be negatively affected by the increased power?
thanks

and clutch yes "for a while", but it will start slipping sooner than later.
There are many inexpensive clutch choices , Clutchmasters Stage3 and JWT to name few that are fine for this power level.
Depending how hard you drive , all driveline parts , ie Diff , half shafts etc etc. are effected by the increased rwhp. Repeated hard drag launches (especially with slicks) will eat there lunch the fastest.
If you launch like granny on street tires , all these components should last a long while.
I am still waiting for somebody to buy a set of half shafts from Drive Shaft Shop.

Did not really "feel" the clutch was slipping, but recently Nissan replaced my tranny for known synchro issue (again!) and put a new redesigned clutch in the car. It became quickly obvious that my old clutch was slipping and probably had been for quite some time.
Now waiting on JUN flywheel so I can put it and a CM III in the car next month.
