Which F/I kits include a timing solution.

I've got a question about the Split Second and J&S timing controls. Do either of these boxes effectively "lock" the timing at the specified amount of retard while the engine is in closed loop? Or can the ECU's closed loop adjustments basically override the timing controller? Im just concerned that even while the timing controller is still retarding at the specified rate that the ECU may advance the timing to an unsafe level under boost, in spite of the timing controller, basically rendering it useless. Im curious because the ECU determines the amount of advance/retard based on conditions other than just MAF voltage and engine RPM. It also takes into account engine temp, ambient air temp, load, throttle position, as well as others. Does the '04 TS reflash address this?

You wouldn't happen to have a compressor map for those turbos would you? The GT28s?

APS custom setup, neither GT nor Garett have released maps.
If someone hasem, I'd like to see them though.

So retard by the PB and ECU in closed loop shoudl be mutually exclusive.
Even though I was seroiusly considering a turbo setup, I think Im going to opt for a supercharger due to the ease of installation and tuning. Is there an ideal supercharger setup for 7-8psi of boost? Im looking at both the Vortech and ATI kits and there are some things that dont appeal to me about the two. I dont like the fact that I have to drill a hole in the upper oil pan for the oil return on the Vortech, and Ive heard some bad reviews about the quality of the ATI setup. Even though the Vortech kit is more complete, the method of fuel enrichment seems danger prone. Is there anyway around it, like bigger injectors and an injector controller? Is there ANY kind of oil return setup that wont cause me to have to drill into the upper oil pan? Would it be possible to use the J&S setup on the Vortech instead of the Split Second unit?
I hate to bother you guys with so many questions, maybe I just need to relax and drink a beer or two.
