Regarding the numbers on the block and crank, dont forget that there is are two extra letters that need to be ignored, and it doesnt mention that in the service manual. It should four letters in the manual, but there are 5!!

G35 helped me with this:

Crank: Disregard the first letter
Block: Disregard the last letter.

Hey guys, just wanted to let you guys know that the bearings are not usually something Nissan dealers stock. Ive ordered a few sets for different customers, one being Ernie from New Mexico. The bearings do take some time to get but at Performance Nissan, we will do whatever we can to get parts in as quickly as possible. Any OEM part we dont stock can be ordered and usually arrives within 2-3 business days but the bearings take a little longer due to it coming from different locations across the country and depending on availability.

Ernie, I passed your order along to Jason and I believe most of the parts are in, we are just waiting for a few of the main bearings. I think Robin wanted us to ship what we have and ship the rest of the parts later but Im going to have to touch basis with Jason first to see exactly what is going on. I hope the crankshaft made it there safely.

i think u may be referring to an order speedlab placed for my car, the one right next to ernies', keeping it company...robin from speedlab said you guys told her you had all of my (todd's) main bearings in except for one(part# ending in 003). further, she assured me that you guys 2 DAY shipped all of the other bearings(the mains that you DO have) yesterday. please confirm that i am correct in my understanding.
thanks,
TODD
ps-i'm in los angeles until mon am...if u haven't shipped the bearings yet, or if my other main bearings come in, let me know, i'll swing by and pick them up (let me know-it'll save me the cost of 2 day shipping)

Thats right, I think when I first spoke with Robin she had told me it was NOT Ernies car, I just assumed that it was Ernies car cause we have been going back and forth with him so much. Your order is the one I passed along to Jason, I believe the order when out already and should arrive there early this week. I will have to double check tomorrow as I have no information right now being that I am at home. I will look into it for you tomorrow to confirm but to my understanding I believe majority of the bearings were shipped out and we are only waiting for one or a few bearings, I will double check tomorrow.

This was already mentioned in the thread earlier in the write up.

Yeah the crankshaft made it just fine thank you, but the damn machine shop needs to pull their head out of their a$$ and finish Todds and my block already!!! I think they had our blocks for like 2-3 weeks now! I am considering shipping my block to SGP Racing and have them complete the build up.

I ordered my main and rod bearings through Performance Nissan and they should be arriving this Wednesday (shipped Friday), a total of about 2 weeks from order to arrival.

key word: should be
the main bearings, especially, can come from several different warehouses, one or 2 bearings could take their sweet time showing up, and you'll be waiting longer for a little 10 dollar piece of crescent shaped metal...
good luck though

Bearing update...aahh..madness...

All the bearings are in except for one main and one rod bearing. They are backordered, so it might be a while before I can continue.

Find out which grades, as stated before I have extra bearings.

ALL your bearings were shipped out last week on Thursday or Friday I believe. I just confirmed with Jason.
