ABS and Slip lights coming on with Greddy
Once in a while my ABS, Slip, and VDC lights come on while driving. And it goes away after a while. Does anyone know why? It doesn't seem like it is hurting the performance. Anyone running Greddy kit having this?
I'm guessing you mean all at once? Has it been doing since you had the install? One possibility is that the steering column was reinstalled off one tooth. Is the steering wheel straight when you drive straight? If it's off more then a tooth or to the slip light will come on right away.
But if it's only off one it will come on only randomly or in turns when the VDC decides that it's off center. But that only lights the Slip and VDC lights. Not sure on the ABS
HTH,
Gary

It happend when I did a burn out once, but that was when I was N/A. Now it happens more often since I got the TT. And I can't figure out what it is. And it's not the steering column. Weird...

With the VDC system I know the car has lateral G sensors as part of the control system. I think maybe the car gets confused when it is accelerating but not experiencing any G load on the sensors.
Mine stayed on all the time. I took it to Nissan and they reset the sensor triggering the problem and it was all good. They still charged be like $150, but the lights are gone.

The lights come on during dyno sessions because the front wheels are not spinning. The sensors detect that the rear wheels are spinning like mad, but no signal from the fronts makes the system think something is broken. Once the fronts start spinning again, the system resets itself.
This will also happen during long burnouts for the same reason.
