AF ratio with Vortech SC

I have installed Vortech SC in my -04 350Z, and i iam going to tune it with the splitsec R4 software soon. Do you know what AF ratio your tuners uses on a nice tuned SC 350Z?
How much power can the standard internals handle?
Have anyone had trouble with the oil drain hose from the SC?

Initially, before using R4, your A/F at WOT will probably be in the low 10s or high 9s. Quite rich! Using R4 try to get A/F at WOT around 11.5
Out of the box, after tuning, you are probably going to see 350-375 rwhp.
Have had NO problems with the "oil drain hose" that goes into the upper oil pan. However, I have noticed a VERY VERY small amount of oil under the blower. Can't see where it is coming from, so I need to remove the SC to verify if it is from the feed or drain hose. Again, a VERY small amount.

SungNamZ...you can easly access the bottom of the blower thru fender well . If the Z is like the G . The front fender well is in 2 halves , couple screws and a few of them bllack fasteners and you can get to the bottom of the blower to clean the screen in the oil squirter and look for problems
Thanks "booger"! Wasn't looking forward to having to pull the SC! Another subject. I took "CaneZMD" recommendation and yours. CaneZMD suggested going with the RU-4410 filter. Then put the filter on the end of the breather Vs into the back of the blower filter. Got a "catch can" but haven't hooked it up.
Seeing that Vortech has shortened the filter for the "G" I order one from Vortech. Shorter, but large like the original. Very flexible back which should allow it to go between the blower and radiator support. Plus NO hole in the offset for the breather hose. Something for everyone to consider. That breather hose going into the back of the filter makes a big mess within the system.

Ive never had any oil coming from my breather . The original air filter is more flexible than I thought . I just disconnect and push it down into the fender well . clean and install . easy
SungNamZ-- Could you explain in more detail the filter and breather system you mentioned? I can't find CanZMD's thread.
I'm concerned that water can get through the filter into the breather hose and then freeze. This happened to 2 cars my installer worked on and they developed valve cover oil leaks.

At one time , I had a big hose [ like the one used to cool brakes ] I connected it to the inlet of the blower . Ran it down into the fender well . But I was afraid of the same thing [ water ]. So I took it off and put the filter back on the inlet

The reason why i ask about the oil drain hose is after we finished installing the SC, the oil drain hose was not good enough routed from under the SC. Then the oil could not leave the SC fast enough and i blew out the oil seal on the back of the SC gearbox.

I dont know if a Dynapack Dyno is a load based dyno or not . If it is , you are making good HP . Headers and pipes will help the HP . It more than likely will drop the boost though . No big deal , you will make just as much power as if you had more boost and a more restricted exhaust . If you put on the smaller pulley you'll get even more . The motor should hold up fine with the mods you have planned . Just keep the A/F at 11.5 and timing retard at least 7 degree's at redline

I'd go with intake and test pipes. Well, I did, .....go with intake and test pipes. Sungnam was talking about using a smaller k&n filter for the sc and then just using a tiny breather filter for the vent hose that's supposed to plug into the vortech air filter.
About that filter:

Should know something tomorrow on the "G" filter. While I have one, the RU-4410 has only been on for two weeks. Barzten1 received filter today and we will probably install tomorrow PM.

While on the subject of oil I have an oil leak which I believe only occurs under boost. It seems like a spray since it covers a lot of areas mostly under the blower area and aft.. The fuel pump, lines etc..I noticed it right after final tuning and had it in the shop recently but could not find the source..The oil feed line (fitting) and return lines are dry..I have not driven it under boost since returning home and no oil drops..Suspect it is a feed line fitting or the actual line that under boost releases oil..Any thoughts suggestions would be much appreciated..Its not a big leak but troublesome just the same..
I notice the oil under the blower and inside the filter. Also on the tube leading to the BOV.
Pulled the shields on the wheel well and checked both feed and drain lines. NO oil leaks. Nothing shows signs of oil behind the blower. Only under the blower and skid plate area under the blower. I suspect seal. Like you said, not a lot of oil just a nuisance and suspect it is getting into the tube and BOV.

I dont know if this would apply . At one time I had a after market oil filter on . Cant remember name brand .But it would build preasure up in the crank case under boost and spurt out the dip stick hole . I think the check valve in the filter wasnt what it should be for our motor . Just some thing to check maybe
No oil out the "dip stick hole". Still think in might be a seal in the blower. I noticed when I was checking the feed and drain lines, there was a small drop of oil on the bottom a two week old filter on the blower. The drop was fresh and clean. I know it wasn't from the breather as that is setup like yours.

Thanks "jpc350z"! Removed the RU-4410 which has only been on for two weeks. Some oil on inside bottom of filter. Replaced it with the Vortech Filter for the "G". It does not have a breather hole, so you will have to drill one unless you choose to put breather filter in the end of hose.
On the "G" filter. It is 3.5 inches long and the same diameter as the "Z" filter with offset flange. The back is extremely flexible. Took a "dremel" to the plastic edge of the radiator support bar that is just in front of the blower. Made it even with the steel support. Was able, without damaging the filter, install it on the blower. The filter more expensive than lets say K&N, but it does fit and pulls in more air.
