Default someone give me a reasonable price to pay for a greddy setup+labor...

I am grgaduating from Ga Tech and just got a good job offer, nontheless I've wanted my Z turboed for a while and I just may do it this summer. I want to use the greddy TT kit and want it to be around 400-430 WHP, so im assuming the boost would have to be around 8-9PSI on the kit. How much money can I reasonably expect to pay and name all the parts i would need. any places in metro ATL really good at installs, im assuming Z1 motorsports would be THE spot to get this done at....someone help me out i didnt wanna spend over 10k but I dunno.

In a addition to kit to run 9-10 pounds:

J&S Safeguard 500.00
Wideband 02 Sensor 300.00
e01 boost controller 500.00
Tunning 400.00 approx
Install 1500-2000

This would be a nice setup, if you want flashy guages then that would be more but not needed. Fromt hat in addition to the kit you would spend around 3200-3700 more, and if you get the kit for around 5500 you would be in the 8700-9200 range.

You need around $10-11k to do the install correctly (turbo + accompanying parts + labor), but you better have another $5k laying around in case your motor pops.

To achieve 9-10lbs, you'll realistically need to spend $14-15K to address forged internals, fuel system, and miscellaneous items, like the profec e01 and gauges. Basic kit with install runs around $8-10K depending on your specifics.

That amount of boost and power is borderline on a stock bottom end. Spend some time researching the forum and learnings as much as you can about this topic. A dozen or so memebers have blown engines in the sub 10psi range. A PERFECT installation and PERFECT tuning a must, and those two things can sometimes be hard to find.

You will need about $10-$11K for the kit, installation, gauges, and tuning, and a return fuel system. And this COMPLETE. Yes, you can do it for less, but your margin of safety will drop dramatically.

For the ability to safely and comfortably boost more, you'll want to upgrade to a forged bottom end, which can add roughly $5000 to the mix.

Default TT kit

You may want to consider the APS TT kit. Right out the box with an exhaust system added you get 400rwhp. If you put on high flow cats you will get about 420rwhp. This kit is very responsive, power picks up like crazy when you get on it..

Here is the Dyno of Susan Henry's APS TT 350Z roadster, she has a Stillen exhaust system and stock cats

You're at GA tech, Susan shows up at the Varsity on the first thursday. Look her up.

You would be looking at around $10-$11K for parts and labor, depending on your existing mods. Call me for more info. 770-838-7777 ext 2

You can't compare a Greddy and APS Kit together. There is no way I would get a Greddy now that APS is out which is why I went with APS. Before APS i thought about it. Now that I know everything about both kits theres no way in HELL i'd go with the Greddy. You know all the installation requirements for both kits right?

How much did you spend for your setup? Did Z garage install your kit?
