this was disscused a while ago...
ok i would like to hear what all of you turbo and if you would like SC guys say on this. I have had 2 300zx tt's and knew about water or methonal (sp?) or what other liqud you could use injected into the plenum, would you guys suggest this, i know that it helps cool the motor, not wanting to raise the boost (or wanting to) i know that it also adds HP and TQ, so i would like to hear from people like turbonetics, APS and all others if you would.
Thanks
Thanks
I have had this in the back of my mind for a while. I am waiting for a CARB TT kit, so can't do anything about it at the moment.
On www.twinturbo.net, there is a LOT of data on water injection, and the results are very good. More power with no additional boost (good news for our high compression motors). I am surprised no one on this board has tried it yet.
If the discovery process is the same for the Z33 as it was for the Z32, it will involve someone installing the system, and starting with small jets and slowly working up to larger jets to see where the gains are and how much is to be had.
Once I have a TT kit, I'll be looking into this, but for right now, I haven't heard of anyone trying it.
