Default Oil Temp/fuel pressure

Going to be doing my Vortech install soon and I was wondering where the best place to install the oil temp and fuel pressure sensors. Can the oil temp sensor be tapped right into the oil pan? As for the fuel pressure. I guessing it can be TEE'ed in between the fuel rail and the FMU?

please tell my if I'm wrong, or if there is a better way to do this.

Thank you for the help

I installed an oil temp sensor. For me, I installed it in the JWT oil pan spacer. So it was VERy simple, and I have an extra quart of oil.

Depending on the kind of fuel pressure sender--it mounts on the fuel rail and either sends an electrical signal (better and safer), or an actual small fuel line to the gauge (crazy).

If you use the fuel line straight to the gauge, then yes it's crazy. That is why there is a peice that goes from the gauge to the engine bay and is fill with radiator fluid. That way if the line snaps, no gas ends up on you.

Its an Autometer Sport-comp full sweep fuel pressure gauge (Electric) the oil pressure is also a Autometer Sport-comp electric. Yeah I figured brining fuel into the cabin of the car would not be such a good idea.

You wouldn't happen to have a picture of where/how you mounted yours? Just want to make sure I do it right, and a picture can tell a 1000 words

When I do my install I'm gonna take pictures of everything this way we all can learn from it.

For my fuel pressure sensor I bought the AAM fuel pressure mounting block adaptor. I also have Autometer full sweep electric gauges. Mine are the CF series. For the oil temp use a + fitting on the stock oil pressure sender which is where you will be connecting the oil feed to the Supercharger anyways.
