Looking at these wires ahs me a bit twisted, lol. What does the Wideband Analog output go to? What does the two (brown) Sensor grounds go to? What does the Blue user input 0-5v go to?? I think I got the rest but Im trippin on these wires. Any bit of help would be great!

Don't know if this will help, as I have a "Z", but here goes. There are a lot of wires on the 12 pin signal connector that don't get used. Pin #1 (Red) and Pin #7 (Black) switch power and ground, probably no explaination needed. Got power from a lead off the fuze box with key on. Got ground from a point under the dash.

Only two (2) wires get tapped into the ECU harness. Pin #3 (Green) and Pin #10 (Grey). Innovate! Motorsports did some research and put together a "Installation Supplement" which provides ECU information. On the harness, Terminal #62 is where you get RPM Signal (Yellow/Red) and splice into with wire from Pin #3 (Green). Now, on the harness, Terminal #50 is where you get Throttle Position (Green) and splice into with wire from Pin #10 (Grey).

I passed all the cables/wires for the "Boost Sensor", "Oxygen Sensor" and "EGT" through the firewall with the wires for the SS piggyback with the Vortech SC. It was behind the battery. The Boost Sensor I mounted on the firewall close to the battery compartment. Just splice the Zt-2 Wire Colors (Yellow, Brown and Orange) to the Boost Sensor Wire Colors (Red, Black and Green). The EGT has it own plug and it goes to the EGT Probe if used. The Eight (8) Pin Oxygen Sensor Conector plugs into the Zt-2 and goes to the Oxygen Sensor. I had the Bung for the Oxygen Sensor welded into my drivers side R/T Cat.

For me, all the other, not used wires, are wire tired / electrical tape wrapped under the dash. Hope this helps?

Jordan,

Why did you decide to go w/ a Stillen instead of the Vortech SC ?

I basicly felt that i wanted the reliability vs hp. I rather have 20-30 less hp and know that i can beat the crap out of my car and not have to worry about anything. I know a few people living in cali with vortech kits and other turbos who dread the day they get pulled over and get their car checked for carb. When i drive i have enough to worry about and dont need any thing else. The stillen kit doesnt have the most hp/tq but that doest mean its the slowest.

I actually just send somone a pm about this that was like 2 pages long, so as soon as he responds ill fwd the whole message to you.....

All the questions you ask are right on point. My original plans were the following: go and get a vortech and hope for the best in terms of reliability. Well thats just plain ********. I cannot and will not ever (next 6 years at least) be able to afford a new engine or afford to get one repaired. The stillen might not have the highest hp rating, but it has tons of torque and thats what u feel anyway. I rather have 20-30 hp less and know i can beat the living crap out of my car and have no problems, and hey if i screw up? I call dell up and tell em that they need to send somone out to work on the claim on my engine (not likely that it will blow). Another huge issue with the vortech is the maintance and Carb. If you have no problem with constintly hearing new sounds and be nervous of ur car being ****ed up and as well as being nervous of having a illegal car on the streets get the vortech.

Like i said that was me 1 month ago. Since i changed. I realized that this is alot of money and i dont need twin turbos and all that. I decided i wanted to go stillen and frankly was very upset at the way i was treated about 3 weeks ago. I called to ask them about the products and felt as if i were being treated like crap. There tune changed reallly fast when i started talking about a Supercharger. I used to have some other sales man who was a complete *** but changed to a guy named Dean who is really nice and responsive. He hooked me up with an deal and worked around my Schedule. I dropped my car off their and was really suprised how profesional and great that place is. The install shop is top knotch and it seems like i made the correct choice. I got the new hood and not the piece that goes on top of the hood. I also got the stage 2 package. I plan on going stage 3 in less then 3 months and might go to a special custom pulley then after.

This kit ended up costing alot more then planned with the vortech. The vortech' was about 5200 + 1200 for install about 6500 with oil and that stuff. The stillen is costing me about 8k but i am getin a 36k mile 3 year warrenty and a new hood.
