BARTHELB shows a "300ZX" oil cooler mounted with his APS installed. Maybe he could ellaborate for you.

I am surprised to hear the engine oil temp is getting up to 120c with an APS kit, which includes that oversized, cooling fin equipped oil pan. I remember the post about the 300ZX oil cooler, too, but I did not grasp the significance at the time... That oil is getting HOT!

Barthelb's Z was done by http://www.zcargarage.com/

If you look in the gallery, at "Bruce's TT" there is a "ZCG oil cooler" listed as a mod. So whatever they're using, they figured out a good way to mount the oil cooler.

It is a 300ZX twin turbo oil cooler. They mounted a piece of plastic on the side of the Intercooler which channels the air to the oil cooler mounted in my tire well or fire wall. I want to get the Defi BF guages for the 3 pod on the dash and mount an oil temp and either oil psi or water temp for tracking.

Remember I'm in Australia and it gets dam hot, 120C is the hottest I have seen and that was after 5 laps of flat out driving, on full boost for at least 80% of the time. I'm seeing around 95 - 105C degrees at the moment for daily driving around the city durning our summer, but I would love to get some sort of oil cooling happening real soon.

Cheers
