Exclamation Built Motor-Fuel System Issue-HELP?!

My motor is completely built, everything is ready to go...
Forged internals
AAM Fuel System in place
Walbro 255 in place...everything connected...

Here's the problem...evn after cycling the fuel pump over a dozen times...the fuel gauge doesn not read that it is seeing any pressure...

The return line has been disconnected and checked- blew air through it...it is patent...this is not the problem
The fuel pump is audibly pumping fuel when the key is turned on...the fuel pump operation is not thr problem (it has been checked and it is pumping fuel)
The next gameplan is to disconnect the fuel pump again and rule out any leaks resulting in this loss of pressure.

The motor wants to start..but can't seem to get any fuel pressure..any ideas???

Thank you in advance!

Todd, did you check the fuel pump rubber seat...as I mentioned over the phone? They wear out after time...especially if you have removed the pump a couple of times.

Good luck......my guess is the pump is working, but pumping fuel right back into the fuel bucket assembly. Make sure that thing is put together correctly, the seal is strong..etc...

Couple of things to check. The fuel pump as Sharif mentioned. Also the fuel pressure plug may either have a torn o-ring or unseated o-ring. There are two o-rings that need to be in place. The one at the top of the plug and the one at the bottom. Also the o-ring at the bottom of the plug (larger) is stacked above the white spacer. Care must be taken when inserting the top of the plug because the o-ring will tear if it is forced. The clearance betweent the pump and the o-ring are very tight. The plug should be twisted slowly while applying light pressure till the plug seats. Hope that helps! Give me a call on my cell if you need help. 703.981.6842
