Default Vortech S/C First Track Run...?'s

Hey, just got a question...ran the Z last night on the track wondering if times were what everybody else is getting...also, what mods should I go from here that lie within safe operation to get the thing moving? Thanks...

2003 Nissan 350Z 5AT
Vortech S/C
Nismo Headers
Nismo Exhuast
Nismo Suspension
Nismo Wheels (Toyo Proxes TS-1)

Times were:
2.032 60'
8.666 1/8
83.44 mph
13.328 1/4
105.11 mph

This sound about right for mods and 5AT? Also..throw in what I should do to get the most of out the setup...sorry for all the repetive questions...new to f/i ...thanks..

Well given the fact that you have headers and exhaust I would think you would have trapped higher, but your e.t. is ok for an auto. Your 60ft is good, you cant really improve much there on street tires-you may be able to muster a high 1.9. Have you dyno tuned it? How much whp do you put down? Did you manually shift it?

Yeah, I was disappointed about the trap..I figure they might still need to be broken in a bit...good to hear about the 60ft..I didnt slip much at all, can't muster too much better, I havent dynoed it..and how much would "tuning" it affect the performance? Thanks...
Oh and yeah, I manually shift...I might have shifted a cry early from 3-4.

Well tuning will make a world of diference-as much as 30whp possible more-it depends how much your mods are throwing off your base tune. You shift into 4th to hit 105?? I woulda thought you could do that on the high end of 3rd...btw whats the elevation @ that track ?

That is a real good time for an out of the box tune . I was running 13.2's @ 105mph with a good tune and street tries with my heavy G35...[ 3,700lb's with Vortech and my 210lb *** in the car ]
