The kit has been working well on my stock internals now for the last few months. And believe me I doubt you could beat on your car as hard as mine has been beat on during this time...Turbonetics is a top notch quality kit that to date has been as reliable as what I imagine a stock kit would be,,

Do you have to change out your exhaust system to a single exhaust? Im currently running a Greddy Cat-back with test pipes. Will I have to change anything?

Brad, will you please pm me a quote on this kit with intercooler, shipped to Northridge, CA? Thanks!

Yes every Turbonetics kit comes with a case of Turbonetics own 5W-30 Fully synthetic oil. It is the same oil that Turbonetics sponsored drag teams run in their drag cars. Its designed to prevent coking and breakdown from high thermal loads associated with turbo engines. Brad myself and most of the Turbonetics guys use it for regualr oil changes. It works on N/A motors just as well its just made to also withstand extreme conditions...

Turbonetics does not sell to the public you would need to purchase this from a vendor. www.avalonracing.net is a good one and has great prices. Also Alterred Atmosphere or www.hopupracing.com or Danzio Performance in Lake Perris www.danzioperformance.com

To answer your question in regards to the exhaust you could do one of two things.

(1) have the shop that installs the kit modify your Greddy exhaust to work

or

(2) Sell the greddy and test pipes (the kit replaces the cats and y pipes) and purchase a nice y pipe back exhaust. I have the Apexi WS2 and it is great... pics are avail in my sig.

he would have to go with option 2 since the Greddy evo exhaust is tru dual.

I kow it is but due to the location of the x pipe on the Greddy exhaust he could actually have it modified to fit. Another member just did so...

Thanks MIA, can't wait get 'er runnin. We're going to be taking the ECU out next Tuesday to ship to turbonetics for the reflash. I'm hoping we can get it back by Friday so I can have the car running by the weekend. There's a big meet going down here that I'd like to show off the newly installed kit at. Do you think I'll be cutting it close by sending it out through fedex on Tues?

Not at all. The box is overnight delivery...so if you ship it Tue morn it will be there Wed morn...the reflash takes about 45 mins so it will ship back out overnight delivery to you on Wed...you should have it by Thur morning..

Since the EVO2 really has a "double-Y" pipe, I'm going to have my shop just cut the forward facing Y off and fabricate and weld a fitting onto the rear facing Y to mate up to the downpipe of the turbo. I think Fabricating a 'reverse Y-pipe' might introduce too many additional bends that would slow down the exhaust and possibly add back pressure. My method with the Evo2 gives the exhaust a direct shot from the downpipe into the resonators. Should work well. I'll post pics in a few weeks of the work once the kit is in.

Here's my MSPaint rendition of what I'm planning....

Very safe with a/f about 11.0, and whipping mine for awhile as well.
