Oh and one more thing.....pray that I did everything right!!lol SirJonny, I only have a couple questions. What was your start up procedure? Cause I know there is a whole bunch of air in both the fuel lines and power sterring pump. Also how much smoke is to be expected at initial start up? Man, I am stuck at work and all this talking is really wanting me to get this thing going!!!
I'd recommend cranking the car over and letting it idle for a good 15-20 min. The first time you rev it to redline, you'll probably get a lot of smoke out the a$$ end, just like johnny said. You'll also get smoke under the hood from the oil burning off the pipes.

Did you allow for any kind of break in period? I was thinking about sliding into it. You know gradually get into boost. First drive, stay under 2000 rpm's then in crease after a bit and so on and so forth. Just to be sure all is well.

That sounds about right. Do you have a wideband? If not I would be pretty tame until you can get to a dyno. Everything should be money but just to be safe (I would recommend this for ANY major upgrade) I would hit the dyno and verify the AFR

Not that I would drive the car without first putting it on the dyno, but really with this being an "Un-tuneable" kit, what problem could one expect to identify by putting the car on a dyno, and what would you do about it?

Still no ETA on my kit yet, but Avalon is on top of it....

MIA, any chance that you're aware of what T-netics is waiting on to deliver the next batch of kits?

As far as I know Turbonetics shipped 30 kits last week. Several other members have gotten theirs but I am not sure if the Avalon order was part of that shipment. I will ask Brad when I get a chance. As for this kit and the dyno. The main reason I would like to dyno is to ensure everything is installed correctly. Lets say you did not modify the regulator correctly. You are going to have high or low fuel pressure. Or maybe you dont have the wastegate connected properly better to realize that you are going to overboost and hust it down in a controlled environment then on the street. Just my .02

Yeah, I talked to Paul at Avalon today, and he indicated that none of those 30 kits are coming my way. I was hoping to be ready for HIN on the 25th, but I don't think it's going to happen. If you get a feeler for when the next ones are coming, I'm dying to know. Thanks man.
