I guess ur gonna need a piggy back so that you can fine tune the tuning... the more and more I see of the people with slight problems with the turbonetics... it is making me feel like I should spend the extra money on the APS single turbo since you can always do the fine tuning.... ahhh

first off when we dyno'd the air/fuel it was running around 12.5!!! WTF, we called turbonetics and all they could say is that they cant make a mistake because theres only one reflash that they do... ok second thing is that when at idle, the car is misfiring like crazy!! im really worried on what to do.... please anyone help?
"TURBONETICS ST KIT
100-shot NOS ZEX
AEM cold-air intake
BORLA TD exhaust"

So you installed the Turbonetics ST kit, do you still use the N/X? And a cold air intake from AEM

Anyway could be many reasons on why you are reading in the 12's for A/F... Do you have a A/F gauge? I would suggest going over again with the shop on the parts of the fuel upgrades, injectors, plugs, the modding of the fuel pump.

Other than that, if some of us are running rich (well more than 11.5) then it wouldn't be surprising me if some would be running more lean.

Also since all seems to be good for me other than running rich, is why I am considering alternate managment other than a re-flashed ECU.

I would be worried with FI and a 12.5 a/f, enough to where I wouldnt be flooring my car. Cant Turbonetics reflash the ecu for you? Obviously no two cars are alike, so what could be a rich safe tune on one car could be lean on another. Does anybody know if Turbonetics charges for a 2nd flash if your first one doesnt work? I think they should offer everybody at least 1 extra reflash if their base tune makes the car unsafe to drive. If not people are going to have to spend more $$$ on pigyyback ecu's, and that would take away from the value of the kit....

Keep us update as to what your going to do with your a/f's.

You have a leak after the MAF. What is your A/F at idle, if you remeber? I would check all the pipes leading in. If not there then check all the injector o-rings, the plenum bolts, and the plenum gaskets. You can try spraying carb cleaner around the plenum to try to locate the leak while the car is running. Spray in one area (ie-around the front of the plenum) and listen for changes in idle. The injectors may be really hard to get to so you may have to take the plenum off and visually check.

My car also misfires at idle, I would also like to know how to correct this issue. Btw, I am running stock plugs at the moment.

5th gear is 1-1 ratio on the Z and will give you the most accurate numbers... Some people have dyno'd in 4th due to the fact that the car will do almost well over 130 in 5th

ATX uses the dyno dynamics chassis dyno. It's a load dyno so it doens't matter what gear you dyno at. the ratio is usually always 1:1

Congrats on the future mag exposure of your ride. As for your A/F issue I would look for leaks specialy aft maf. Every flash I have seen from TN or TS on the kit has been rich, between 10.1-10.6,your reflash shouldn't be that lean...

In speaking with Ryan he also had some non-descript (read cheap gas) in the car during the install. He runs only the good stuff now but that could have made the AFRs a little off as well.

Well thats why I suggested to him that he should get a wideband for his car. I don't trust tail pipe sensors nearly as much as a wideband before the turbo. Furthermore he mentioned that his car is not pinging at all under any load...
