That's a plus....We all would like to help but it is shooting in the dark without having the car to diag/scan.

I'm from Long Island NY and know there are capable shops that can find your problem in NJ. Move on if they can't solve this problem.

Hey Guys,

I've been reading over this thread since I have decide that I may go with the T-Netics ST kit over the Vortech which, last week, I was so dead set on.

First part of the thread, I was really confident especially when ther were very descriptove pics of how to handle the whole TD exhaust system being as that I have the EVO II also. Then I started to read all the probs that ryan was having and started to get concerbed,

MIAPLAYA, I sent you some PM's on 350zmotoring, can youi please check them. I spoke with a guy at Mossy who says he knws you. I would like to check out your car and I am willing to drive down to meet you ( I'm in the 310).

JLimquest on motoring forwarded me a link to the facility that apparently installed your turbo system, MIAPLAYA. Danzio Performance, are they the right ones. In addition, since i have the EVO II, are they capable of fabricating, cutting or doing any sort of 'custom' work to mate the exhaust and turbo together correctly?

I was going to have it installed at Technosquare since I'm only about 10 minutes away however if you have already had this shop do it, your car runs fine and they do an excellent job, I'm willing to drive all the way out there for a proper install and hence, no or less problems. Please respond MIA, I need your advice.

Mia's kit was installed by Turbonetics. However, he did recommend Danzio for our LA area & was also recommended by TN.

It was installed by T-Netics?

I called them and asked if they did installs and they told me know. Did MIA have it done under special terms, perhaps sponsorships or something?

I belive MIA is sponsored by turbonetics and they used his car to make the kits (test car), so that is the reason turbonetics did his install.

Correct I was the 04 test car for Turbonetics and my install was done there. As for Danzio Performance they have done the kit. You can pm BPL but when I talked to him at Turbonetics Open House he was more then happy with everything. Not to mention Chris Danzio has a VERY good relationship with Turbonetics and can get anything handled FAST should it arise. Like I said BPL had his kit installed there and they fabbed up a reverse y pipe to make his Borla fit so I'm sure thats no problem. Sorry I didn't respond to your PMs on Motoring but I;m rarely there and almost never check the PM box on that site. I apologize if you sent some recently. BTW you have this all in PM form as well. And yes Greg from Mossy knows me pretty well and called me today after you called him.

let me just say.... after installing my AEM UEGO wideband guage.... my car is always in the 11's at WOT... its as if the computer adjusted itself... my only problem is at idle where the car is idling around 14.8-15.3 and then it goes super lean(passes 17.0) and then the car misfires....

Did you use the Apexi universal muffler with custom piping and some cat? Interested, I'm considing the Apexi exTi, the JIC Ti, or custom also. Worried about the loudness though. Also, have you dyno'ed with the setup?

He ran a custom exhaust 3" piping from the downpipe back to an Apexi N1 Turbo muffler..

I wouldn't say that. Adding a resonator would keep the volume down but not affect hp at all...
