Default why am i going into limp mode ?

ok, this has been going on for a long time now. i will go into limp mode in mostly 2nd gear around 4500 rpm. turn car off, then back on after a few seconds and it will drive normal until i go wot again and bam, limp mode again. it does this every few days, it sucks so bad, i can't drive the car the way i want to. i should have my new plugs tomorrow. is it anyway that fouled plugs can cause a car to go into limp mode ? How about the MAF. is there a way to test if it's bad and sending a bad signal to the ecu ? or any other ideas ? thanks guys.

DId you get the A/F at idle figured out ? Sounds like you have a host of problems going on . And they are more than likely all related.....Did you go threw all your wiring yet ?

boog, not yet, i just got my new plugs in the mail today, hopefully will get a chance to put them in tomorrow, it still sputters when it's first cranked, but only does it a few times, then runs normal.
