Yep. Thats what it does when scaling for larger injectors.

If he lowered the compression to 8.5:1, that makes more area in the cylinder alowing more air.So the motor should be going lean.Right?

If you bore your cylinders to make them larger you will need larger pistons.

True however by changing the piston he has lowered the compression and therefore lowering AFR for a given amount of boost and fuel. He essentially running fuel, timing, and boost for a 10.3:1 motor on a 8.5:1 motor.

were you near empty in your gas tank when this happened??? mine has done it several times but ive noticed its always when i am about out of gas... my theory is that the fuel sloshes around the pump cant get any to the cylinders... mine did this consistently one night when i would get on it and i was sitting on E.... i went and put 10 bucks worth in it and it didnt happen again until i was on E again. air in the fuel system is my guess judging from my experiences.

Haven't heard from you in awhile....Did you get your upper OP replaced OK? (Sorry for the OT Post Shervin)
