My take is that any time you're going to 'break the seal' on the fuel system, you should run the pressure release. It only takes a few minutes to do it, and the alternative is, well....not fun.

Honestly bro check your fuel pressure first. Its fairly quick to do with the right tools and will at least let you know where you are at. If you are at more then 55-58 PSI then you should DEFINITELY do the FPR mod.
So I might just do the fuel pump modification at this time anyway this Sunday... Drilling ain't so bad

It's not an "in-cockpit" solution, but it will allow you to check your idle pressure and you can have someone watch your pressure while on the dyno. The adaptor is only like $100 and you can put it on yourself in about 10 minutes. We used it to check my FP and it's a great solution.
Not sure if it comes with the fuel system but I have the same fuel pressure adaptor and that is where my fuel pressure sensor is tapped. It then runs wires into the car and connects to my fuel pressure gauge... pics:

Well I def. will be considering it, along with a fuel pressure gauge then.
Also I sent back my ECU Monday to Technosquare, and talked to Brian before and after. He says I should be closer to 11.5 now, and def. agreed with the FPR modifications were most likely the reason for my richness. So I should be getting it back tomorrow, put her in and see how it goes... Since I haven't done the FPR mod yet, he said it may be erratic when it comes to my A/F.
But I had to send it back, cause my idle was way to low anyway and while driving my car on Saturday it had turned off a couple of times after sending my ECU last week for a re-flash.

You are a good long ways away from him. He is 20 minutes outside of Buffalo
