They work out well, I promise. They are hard to mount sometimes, but most any compatent tire shop can do it no problem.

Nah, I can do APS also. However I never pushed a stock engine that high of boost... if I did, I am sure I would have beat his record

Any timeslips or racing vids yet, or did his wife put those 11k miles on it I reckon the car will go 100,000 miles with that kit if he doesnt do anything with it.

so from your opinion, which shop is better? i hear good things about both.... i trust you from your fab experience, and because i have heard about you even since the MR2 days

differences in the two shops?

CJM Motorsports no longer services vehicles... so that is a little bit meaningless of a comparison now. For an APS kit, GRD would have been able to service the customer better, because they are a direct APS dealer. They would probably also get a car back in a customers hands quicker then I would have, as my shop was a very private community with very few people working there, (typically only 2, me and one other). Yes we had full professional fabrication capabilities in house... along with an entire offsite manufacturing plant (just down the road). I owned a very nice shop, and it was fun for a while. But 2 guys just isnt enough to make it worthwhile. You can trust GRD with your car in their hands... I have sent probably a dozen people to them in my downtime. I will be back and active in the 350z community shortly (at this other shop), and there is plenty of 350z to go around.

CJM now is only a manufacturer and retailer of its own parts once it reopens again in a couple weeks. I will go over all the details when that happens and I setup the sponsorship here for CJM again, and I will also give details about the shop that I now work for in the same area for those looking for service and installs... they dont work on 350z yet, but once I finish settling in, I will be filling the shop with 350z under my direction.

if you're looking for preferred APS tt installer and dealer contact www.dyno-comp.com i know from some friends that they will treat your car as their own. prices may be a couple hundred above average but i think it is worth it if they are doing the install. they break anything they pay for it and get it replaced. excellent customer service.

thanks charles.
i was just wondering... i know you were only open to appointments. you are pretty much like carl crawford and speed source (you should know him from the MR2 world).
he will work on cars here and there, but for the most part he is fabricating custom parts (MKI turbo kits, manifold, etc). Best of luck to you. Once i get the Z i figure i would be taking it to you for the work i couldn't do myself. (hell i have swapped engines and transmission in an mr2 in a 1 car garage without a cherry picker, so i can do quite a bit) but if you are no longer doing that, i would take to GRD. do you also recommend them for tuning? I always assumed you were the Brian "No shoes" Moore of the Z world. able to fine tune a car to run better than anyone else could.

this is the one thing i like about the Z community. shops with good reps recommend other shops that are comparable. The mr2 world was like that, and it is a great thing watching people help each other out.

No..but he wants to go to the track with me next time I go. Tuan may not beat on the car very much, but Irshod definitely does...and I did too when I drove it.

If you are in the 500rwhp range you should beat your friends Viper if those are mild mods. It wont be rape tho...Stock they put down between 440-450rwhp..With your friends Vipers mods he may be close to the 500rwhp range as Im not sure what you mean by internals..Maybe higher comp pistons? Cams? if so hes way over 500rwhp..Headers and exhaust would only give him about 20-25hp...Better hope he doesnt go FI on you if you beat him lol...Those things are damn near untouchable with FI...Good luck on your build up

My front wheels are 8.5 and my rears are 9.5 for sure.
I have attached photos so you can see. They look SICK on there and fit perfectly. If your looking to get a set, I can get you a really good hook up. Let me know...

You can also see how they fit at the bottom photo on this home page:

do yourself a favor,go get the tape measure and lay it across the wheel.
