I called my vendor. The only place you can get 10.5 wide rims is from Japan. He sold these to me and assured me the rears are 9.5. In fact i remember seeing that on the boxes for sure.

500whp will take some good tuning, setup, and about 10-12psi. A forged bottom end is a good idea. I am hoping some more brave pioneers will start turning up the boost on the stock blocks, to determine if 500whp can be sustained for an extended period of time on the stock internals.

Once again....feeling like I missed so much over the past 2 days.

I agree with everything in this post. Nissan tells us don't push it past 410RWHP but that might be conservative. If we can just keep the heat down it may be a possibility. + we're also learning that it's not the pistons and rods that are the weakest link but the rod bearings. We've burned 2 engines because of those bearings failing and as of yet we know of no 3rd party vendor selling upgraded versions.

Sharif, nice to meet you.

You as well!

The rod bearings could be breaking due to oil starvation, or detonation...so hard to tell at times. So far, rod bearings havent been an issue, on both stock motors, and the built ones, from our perspective.

I do agree that heat management is critical. I think a lot of motors melted down due to too much backpressure...and the tremendous thermal load it puts on the motor.

Easy Tinman These Nissmo and Volk wheels that we have and use ARE 18x8.5 Fronts and 18x9.5 Rears, and we DO run either 275/35/18 or 285/30/18 on the Front and We DO run 315/30/18 Rears. Did you not see vision619's Pictures. I mean common!

yes i did see the pics.yes i did see 315/30/18 on the tire.but i can't measure that rim by my eyes.if you can't measure it then it's OK.no sweat.i just want to see if i'm full of **** or not.if you ask me to believe what you said? sorry i can't
from what i read 9.5 is too small for 315.not sure if it fits.but if it does fits,it would be unsafe.not recommended

Around $15,000-$20,000, a few months without your car. Price and estimate vary.

I still have the boxes at Mossy. Hell, there's 2 more sets at Mossy for that matter. Call and ask for John Garcia (parts manager). Ask him what tire/wheel set-up Mike with the yellow Z has.

I didn't read this thread...how did the size of someone's wheels come in somwhere within 3 pages? Slightly off topic...

9.5 should...just be the lip.

How could you "somewhat dislike me"? I have treated you with nothing but respect? I took the time to Photograph my tires so you could see. To be honest i tried to measure but I don't know from what point to what point to measure to (technically), not to mention it was REAL hard to get a tape in the effectively IE: It didn't work. I'm not sure what I've done do cause your dislike but I apologize. Was just trying to help.

BTW we've tracked this set-up for over a year now. It is very safe and gives us the very best results.

Also, on Saturday there is a set of Prototype Jim Wolf Cams going in my car. When it is on the rack I will photograph the inside of the wheel where it tells you it's an 18 x 9.5. That way you can be sure. I'll try and get the tire size in the same shot.

Sorry for offending you in whatever way I did. That was certainly not my intent. Was truly just trying to help.
