Default Profec E-01 users.. HELP!!

Profec E-01 users.. HELP!! Alright guys here is my problem, i went to a dyno shoot out the other day, so i put my boost at 6.5 psi. I usally have it @ 5.6 psi. So i went to boost level put it at 6.5. During the dyno pull it said the peak was only at 6.0. I then moved it to 7 psi for the second run. I made 390 RWHP the first run. The second run i made 407rwhp. Again the boost controller said it only peaked at 6.0psi, but the dyno showed the it made more power.

now.. I was very happy about the power, and i put it back down to 5.6psi. BUT now i can't even get that! the most i have pulled is 5.1 and it usally is only going to 4.8 at the most. In the upper right hand screen it says...
AUTO P. Does anyone know what that means?

here are my settings..

Lo: auto
boost:5.6
gain:10
start boost : 2.8

what i have done wrong to where it will not boost where i tell it to? I was fine before the dyno run?

I think the problem is that when you set it to Auto you can't just switch between new boost settings without relearning the auto setting again, manual mode is probably best for that. I never got auto to work for me so I just use manual.

thanks for the advice. What are your settings as far as gain and start boost?

Gain is at 10 and start boost is at 5.5 but that is running at 8 psi.

For running stock I would have set at 0, gain at 10 and start boost at 3, with this setting you can find out what your stock boost is and then you can adjust fromt there. The "set" number is a percentage of stock boost so if you stock boost is 5.5 a set of 10 would be about .5 pounds added to the stock boost, the start boost is suggested to be no closer than 2 psi to your target boost or you will overshoot.

hey man i thought i would tell you, I got the AUTO mode to work! I decided to read the manual.. I had to go out and make 6-8 passes in 3ed gear and the AUTO P went off the screen and has now learned my boost and is boosting fine to 5.6psi perfectly. This is a pretty neat feature.

Great, I guess I will give the Auto feature another shot.

Yeah, read the manual. It's not that hard, but make sure you have a long empty road when using the auto learn function. The "Start Boost" feature is kick ***. I was getting frustrated with the E0-1 when I first bought it (Sometimes I think I'm too good to read manuals ) but after I finally spent a couple minutes with the manual it was smooth sailing.

I have read the manual and tried it on the open highway but even after learning the boost it would spike so I went back to manual mode.

I wonder if the ambient temperature while you were using the auto learn could have played a roll. Probably not but it's an idea. I was getting some boost spikes the first time I used "Auto Learn" but then I tried it again early in the morning and the spikes went away.

Auto mode is bit tricky. It works on some cars, and not on others.

The difference in dyno runs is to be expected, even with stable boost pressure between runs.

Dear Westpac
I got little question about e-01
this is my input
1> 0% -> 10gain -> 3 start boost = about 6psi
and this is my manual setting
2> 40% -> 25gain -> 4.5 start boost = about 7.8psi
3> 40% -> 15gain -> 4.5 start boost = about 6.7psi

could you give me a some number if my target boost is 11

cause whene i read Greddy e-01 manual i got lost
1> setting % number is increase/decrease target boost
2> Gain number is faster/slower turbo response....
