Exclamation injectors stock open???

Well last night I installed my EU (awsome computer) and today we took the car to the dyno fore some tuning. We got 456whp / 434tq @11psi. One thing I noticed on the EU is that my 440cc injectors were working at 100% duty cycle!

well, on the way home, car started to have problems and when I check ,two of my passenger side injectors seem to be stock open, This is the secound time this happend to me in the last month.

Has this happen to anyone else?
Another thing, I have 850cc injectors in my RB26 engine, anybody know if I can use them in my VQ?

I have the 440's as well, they go to about 94%-96% and level off. I have had no problems with any of them sticking open.

could it be since you have a fuel return system, you don't push them as hard? because my EU says 100% since like 4500rpm up.

the eu wouldn't know if you had a return fuel system or not if thats what you were using to figure duty cycle. i would just do the 550's and call it a day. i am running 660's and having a couple probs. not sure if it is because of the injector size, but i have been warned a couple times they may be hard to control. as far as 850's, if one of my probs is the 660's, you would be in alot of trouble with 850's. besides, i had to do alot of grinding on the manifold to even fit my 660's with the stock fuel rails that i modified for a return system.

pm 350zDCalb. I believe he had 1 RC 550 that was staying stuck as well. He sent it back and the second one RC sent him did the same thing. They ended up sending him 3 different injectors.

Fito, how did you determine they were stuck open? Regardless, probably time for a set of 550cc injectors. Glad you like the EU.

Well, problem solved. IT wasn't the injectors, it was the coils I put 6 new coils in it and done. My car was sitting on a show here in PR (something like HIN) for four days, seem when ever the models got bored, the turn the key to listen to music . Well anyways the car is running good now, but I have to change spark plugs now, The one's I was using were too cold anyways (IKH24).

Another thing, didn't I read someware the EU had some "anti fouling spark plug something"?? I can't find anything to clean the spark plugs in EU?

Great to hear it was something simple. I am also paranoid about my coils....next time put a sticky on your dashboard...DO NOT LEAVE THE KEY ON...LOL.

I have NGK's one step colder always in stock.
