it is a gates belt. call ati and get the part # or look at the installtion manual and get the part #. punch in that part # and "gates" and do a search, you will come up with a bunch of different choices from the gates website too. unfortunately i forgot the part # myself. the one you stripped is about $25-$30 at an industrial supply place. good luck.

btw- buy 2!! of each!!! carry in the car!! i know this from experience, lol

Call your local Purvis Bearing shop or any heavy duty industrial shop. They can get them to you easily and next day. My last belt I bought was $20.

If I remember correctly the Gates part number is printed on the belt. That might make it a bit easier to find it!

How did it strip? How was the tensioning on the belt? Just trying to see if there is anything to do to prevent this.

i went through about 3 belts in 4 months. mine would not strip the teeth, they would just completely fail. my tension was good, but i never took the time to perfectly align the cog pulleys. i gather the heat generated from the constant misalignment is what was causing my failures. mine would snap when doing a burnout or something, but i was running 15psi pulleies too putting it under more stress. unfortunately the gates belts they use are the strongest belts available for the size. just buy 2 when ever you loose one and keep it in the car. i lost one down in arizona on a trip and had to drive 1600 miles home with the blower not running. gas mileage sucked!!

I never had a problem with mine except when it was first installed and the tensioner bolts weren't tight. On they dyno the tensioner slipped and instantly destroyed one of the belts. Other then that, I made sure they were tensioned right and never had any issues with them.
