+2, I would definitely buy one as well... I believe the red is the stage 3 for 03/04 and the gold is the stage 3 for 05+, I dont know what color the stage 4 is. I have read on here that somehow the gold pulley makes a bit more boost however.

red is for stage 3(03 models), gold is also for stage 3 (04 models), and silver is for stage 4: the silver must generate more boost since it is the smallest one regardless of what some say about running rich etc.....
physics states: smaller pulley = more boost.

then i should really get a/f readings then right? because that means i could be running even more lean than most ppl with a stage 3 setup. I dont understand why there woudl be different stage3 pulleys for the different years, tehyre all the same engine arent they?

Been reading about the Stillen Stage 2, 3, and 4 but have yet to read or see and HP or Torque numbers. I am about to purchase the Stage 2 just want to know what I can expect for gains.
I already have High Flow cats and exhause from Stillen. Thinking about the Nismo or JWT cams. I was going to do the VRT package but will wait until i get a earlier model 6MT 350Z. Not completely sure about TT and 5AT.
Any Info appreciated, its better than starting another thread

one member dyno'd 343 with stage 4... i cant think of any one who has numbers for stage 2... i have stage 2 right now and it pulls MUCH harder than stock... lots more torque and a much more usable powerband. Ive been meaning to get mine dyno'd but ive got a laundry list of things I need to do first.
stillen is great for a daily driver, it offers little more maintenance over stock and great reliability. I would love a turbo but bought my car with the charger on it for the price of a stock z. Its been about 12000 miles with no problems all Ive had to do is replace the belts one time and removed an idler pulley that I couldnt get to stop squeaking.

I plan to dyno before I upgrade to the stage 4. All I have right now, performance wise, besides the supercharger kit is the JWT pop charger, which I recommend, and the stillen exhaust which I recommend as long as you dont mind a stock look... Ive been thinking about trading for an HKS but havent found anyone who wants to.
The stillen kit doesnt respond well to headers... in fact they lose power, and Im not sure about high flow cats, but I doubt they will help much. I would recommend the pop charger or stillen intake along with an exhuast to squeeze extra power out of this kit. Cams will make power but probably not a ton, not enough for me to justify the price tag and ripping into the engine. The best way to go for power is stage 4 but you are probably topped out around 350whp max.... realistically.
You dont need much in the way of gauges for the stillen kit either, but I would recommend at least a boost gauge... which I have yet to do, but want REALLY bad.

I will be be able to supply you with stock vs. stage 2 numbers soon. We have just installed the Stillen blower, waiting for an oil cooler to arrive and will dyno again once installtion is completed. We also have installed a PLX-500 unit to meter A/F and EGT.
