Im just curious, I love the sound of a blow off in a turbo'd car, really any car... Im just curious if you can get the same sound without a turbo or sc car... eventually ill have an ATI Procharger put in my car once i come up with the 5k +2k to install tune etc... but i was just wondering without the forced induction can u get that same sound with a blowoff installed... *flame if this sounds stupid...*

 

You can get the ricey BOV speaker under your hood. They sell them on ebay and it plays the ppssssttt sound if thats all you want.

well i dont mind being flamed i was just curious. I raced a 04 Lancer turbod and kicked his *** by 3 cars the only reason i admired his car was because of the whine and mostly the blow off... like i said im gonna be getting a procharger in the near future and ill have the sound then, so i can handle the wait thanks for comments

 

the procharger sc sqeal will be louder than your BOV....

you *could* get this along with that turbo exhaust/muffler whistler..

The SUNAMI comes complete with all hardware, which includes a manual push button trigger mechanism as well as a vacuum switch trigger mechanism.

After setting a trigger boost level through an adjustable setscrew on the vacuum pressure switch, every time you reach the set boost level, the SUNAMI will simulate the “psssst” noise generated from the blow off valve of a turbo vehicle.

 

Well, I have an ATI with a HKS Blow Off Valve and I can tell you that although the BOV sounds nice it defenitely does not compare to a BOV from a Turbo. The Turbo BOV sounds a lot louder than an SC.
