does the car still lock / arm while the timmer is keeping the car running? The timmer is hardwired in right?

Once the timer times out you will have to pulse the door pin or else you may have issues with the head lights not shutting off. After the door pin pulse it would be beneficial to pulse the arm/lock wire, but I don't believe it is necesarry. I think if you let the car sit long enough the factory security system will arm itself.

Kevin, I think that might be an issue with G35's cause they have the "automatic" headlights... unless you're talking about the DRL. 350z's are a LOT mroe basic than g35s! LOL

I kind of had the same question as veilside....I had thought of a turbo timer, but wasn't sure if the car would try and immobilize itself when I clicked the lock while it was still on.

I have a G and my auto light don't work with the turbo timer because the door has to be open and then shut while the car is not running. Also my clifford G5 will not arm itself and I can't arm it while the car is still running from the turbo timer. Although I have no problem locking the car with the key fob and using the factory alarm with the turbo timer.

The car won't 'immobilize' once its running. It only checks the code while cranking. Once it receives the code it will run forever even if the key is taken away.

I didn't know the Zs don't have auto headlights! My mistake!

seems like i won't have any "alarm conflicts" with the timmer then! yey!

thanks for all the answers! how long do you usually let your car run for after a "1~2psi drive" (regular daily driving)...

yeah the Z's don't have a lot of the fancy things G's have like the auto lights and the feature to have the lights stay on until the door is openned and closed ... i wonder what's the purpose of that feature!
