Default strut bar w/ vortech and crawford

Hey guys, ive had my vortech for a while and just recently bought a crawford cast plenum, problem is, i want a strut bar that will fit both the vortech and the crawford plenum since the crawford strut bar doesnt fit becuz it hits the vortech pulley. anyone know what strut bar fits both the crawford and the vortech?

In the year and half I had this combo, I found no solution. We actually were exploring building a custom strut bar to overcome this. Ultimately, this was one of the factors that made me decide to buy the Kinetix SSV.

damn, i found a post about a guy who has a Kinetix v4 plenum and has the Cusco bar over it...he had to put some spacers in for the cusco, but if the kinetix V4 is the same height as the crawford, is it possible that the cusco bar might fit?

No, the Kinetix plenum has a slight indentation which allows the stock bar as well as aftermarket strut bars to fit.

When I had the Crawford plenum, I always wondered if the Stillen bar would fit. I don't recall ever getting an answer.

The link was just an FYI in case they wanted to sell/could get more made. I have since gone with the Kinetix SSV/Cusco combo.

I'd spend $ 800.00 if for custom build that would fit right!

I also said that with 30 orders, the price would drop by half or more, or so I was lead to believe by my installer.

I only got 2-3 parties expressing any real interest.

Could u put machined spacers under the stock strut Bar? Then use longer bolts ?

You could. The clearance is like 1/16" or less between the stock bar and the pulley. I would not want to take a corner and risk these touching.

teh215 was asking if the stillen bar fits.....I recall someone trying this and it did not.
