Thanks. I think it is a blessing in disguise. Even at 33 years old, I am not mature enough for this car. I am always hauling ****. If I keep it, I am going to kill myself.

Sorry to hear that man, good luck with the sale. Hopefully you reconsider though after you cool down...I've seriously thought up putting my Z up at least 3 times now.

i have the same concerns about myself. i'm 32 and single and i drive it like a maniac, thats even when it was not running correct, wait till it's tuned and running good. it's not the death part i'm worried, but another ticket or 2 and my insurance will be about $400-500 a month!!
i have almost traded mine a couple times now, but hard to find anything else that will look as good and go as fast, especially since i would build up the next car too and loose more money. i'm leaning towards show car, so i can keep it off the road and me out of trouble, lol. prolly never work though!!
maybe you will change your mind after the work is done and calmed down abit. broken ring lands really aren't a big deal, so hopefully it won't set you back too much. good luck

no more fast car for me. I am probably going to get a Lexus GS 300 or a Range Rover Sport (non supercharged off course). I am planning on buying a boat next year so the Range Rover is looking pretty good.

Really sorry to hear that. I know how frustrating it can be. I even thought of trading my car in few times and stop spending mad money on it. I also thought of getting a slow luxury car (the reasonable choice), but I know I wont be happy with it and I'll always want something faster. I gave it one last chance and now everything seems to be good, I'm finally happy with it once again. Once your car is fixed, hopefully you'll reconsider selling it and enjoy it. Good luck to you.

Chit happens meng! I don't blame anyone. SGP is a stand up shop. Mark told me to get the car out there and he will take a look at it. I have their warranty and if it is to due bad parts or workmanship I am sure they will cover it. I am going to ship the car out their soon.

my loss will be someones gain! this is a great deal! over $40K in parts and labor. I will fix this before I sell it, so the new owner will have a brand new built motor.

I know how you're feeling bro. I've spent countless time and energy on modding my Z for over year now and no sooner do I get back from CPR last week and some idiot side swipes my car. I'm really bummed out about it having to deal with f&$king idiots from insurance co., repair shops, rental car agencies, etc. I tired of dealing with false promises and bulls&%t. I've pretty much lost my passion for the car at this point.

Good luck Jorge. Maybe when our cars are "fixed" we might feel different but I can definitely relate.

Ron

hey ron, I'm a licensed insurance agent in FL. If you're having trouble with the insurance company and have some questions, feel free to shoot them my way, I might be able to give you some info that helps you out.

Thanks and I appreciate the offer. We'll see what the adjuster's numbers are on Monday a.m.

Finding a competent repair shop that can do the work in a reasonable amount of time is really the issue right now. I can't stand driving this car around with a wrecked side. I mean I've "only" dropped around $30k on it and it looks like chit.
