Default Keeping the car outside

Great news, my car cannot clear the driveway into the the underground garage of my brand new luxury condo...

I guess I have to keep it outside in my parnts' driveway for some time. In spring I am going FI w/TN ST. Among other things I am getting a vented hood. Should I look into a cover for the air inlet and the vents on the hood for rainy and snowy times? The car already spent 2 winters outside, so I am not worried about it until I put all that stuff in.

Also, which materials are out of question for me now, besides CF?

Obviously it is for when the car is parked.

I have the same problem but I go out and come in at an angle and I clear with no problems....just a little odd looking to the neighbors.

Ignoring the post of tig488. (you know, you really need to find some better use for your time rather then start trouble in any thread that either has my name or does not agree with your opinions, moron) Apparently my remark about Porsche has rather struck a sensitive nerve and now he can't get over it. What happened, wanted a Porsche but couldn't afford one and ended up in a G and now you are compensating for something? Grow up.

Anyway, it even scrapes at an angle.

I was under an impression that cars with FMIC and hood vents should really not be exposed to snowstorms and heavy rains (but Evos get away with it) I just want to be confident that the weather will not ruin anything. So far anything of CF is off my shopping list. Oh well, more money for go-fast parts...

haha, speaking of striking a nerve, im just messin with you, i dont care what kind of car you drive. i was refering to your "luxury" condo remark. actually i have owned 2 porsches.

your car will be fine with the vents in the hood, i know several people with vented hoods that park their cars outside. unless its a hurricane or typhoon, you should be fine.

I used the world "luxury" sarcastically. That's how it was advertised as I bought it and I can't even get the car into the damn garage. So this is a bit of a sore spot for me at the moment, I do apologize for overreacting at some stuff, I have been a bit edgy over the last few days with this crap going on.

Which Porsches did you own anyway?
I personaly always thought it a nice sportscar, but overpriced. The reason I bought the Z is b/c for the $ it takes to by a Porsche or an M3 a Z can be bought, modded and kick their *****. I also hate driving stick, otherwise I'd be on an Evo forum right now...

Evolutions also have hood vents and it is fine in rain and snow.
