Honestly I dont like the way the stock Z Plenum is designed...seems so inefficent........I like the SSV because of style, less parts, lighter and the direct flow....
Im all about getting rid of extra crap....

Just curious, how do you hook up with the turbo and 3.9 final drive gears? I have the 3.9 gears and want to go with the Turbonetics kit and the opinions I've gotten is the car will not hook up at all until 3rd gear??? I'm not tracking the car, its a daily driver. Are you happy with the way it is or would you go with the 3.5 or 3.3 gears if you had the chance?

I dont...hehe...unless u plan to drive around in D/Radials its probably not a good idea..... but im sure it would be like driving a 500WHP car...having the same traction issues....
For a street driven daily driver, would 3.3 gears be a good idea? If I'm correct there would effectively be less torque available from low speed but the car would have a higher top speed. Is this right? If so, what would the old/new top speeds be?
Also, what impact, if any, would the FD change have on vdc/traction control and the speedometer (assuming stock wheels, etc)?

3.3 gears will help in allowing you to use the torque that a turbo or TT will put out. It won't give you as much punch in 4th thru 6th gear, but will help with 1st thru 3rd gear.
Better mpg, each gear will last longer before shifting etc.

Someone posted that there Cruise control was messed up with the lower gears......
what I would do is find someone close to you that wouldnt mind trading gears...install your kit and see what u like better...the pumpking can be changed out fairly easy......that way you can decide for yourself.....
that was my original plan but I decide to keep the 3.917...for now that is...
also figure out what kind of racing if any you like to do.......my car is probably very dangerous for circuit tracks.....Sentry can probably elaborate

Tires will probably be ordered in a couple of months....
Yes 1st gear is very short.....and my flywheel is very light...but hey I bet I reach boost faster than most...hehe....I just gotta well shift sooner.....so I guess from a dead stop with minimal practice I will suck(untill BFG's)...but anything above 60MPH you better watch out...
Hell im gonna try some 2nd gear launches when ever the rain stops and I can make it to the track.....
