So it basically only works while you are stopped? That still wouldn't work for me with track racing. Good to know though if I ever decide to TT my 1970 Chevelle.

no, it actually works whenever you push in the clutch. i believe what it does is shut off one cylinder every revolution of the motor, since the fuel is not combusted it ignites when it gets in the manifold. the explosion makes the turbo spool even while the engine is not under load. btw this is hell on your manifold and turbo.

It sounds like it will be hell on your turbo and manifold. I am happy I stuck with the quick spooling JWT TT kit then. Thanks for the info PoWeRtRiP.

it has been around in the WRC since the 70's-80's. very intereting system but mostly used for crazy power applications in competitive racing. heres a link to a video of one, it sounds like a machine gun going off.

That video is too much. I don't see any real use for it here in any of our aplications.
