About the flow of the intake manifold.....we are not finished with it yet. This is just a prototype. The entry is being revised as we speak and then off to the flowbench and hopefully onto my car for dyno testing very soon.I will post some revised pictures this week.
Running twin TB's would be easy.We actually sketched up another intake with twin TB's coming in from the front of the motor. This by far would look the best and have excellent flow but the big problem would be throttle response and the lack of it because of two big throttlebodys. However this might be the way to go to make over a thousand horsepower and still keep the fly-by wire set-up.

actually you dont need a twin throttle setup for 1000+ hp. This is the 350z that runs 6.4 second 1/4 miles which i think is the record for 350z. The car is made by Performance Motorsports and reinforced by twin Innovative turbos with titanium wheels in both sides of the turbo (exactly the best place titanium is needed) letting it to spool faster. The people that went to SEMA prolly has seen this IRL. Enjoy!
ps: Performance motorsports claim the car to be around 1200 hp.

Actually last I heard those were Borg Warner turbos not Innovative but they might have switched again. Titanium is good but I would worry about the stress on the blades at least on the turbine side. Most big turbos like that use full Inconel turbine housings and wheels.
Borg Warner is the builder of the turbo kit but Innovative are the turbos.
I think titanium is strong enough for this application as it is also used in Mitsu TME turbos used in the mitsu's WRC car.
edit: as it is used in both EVO TME turbos and Mitsu WRC Car's turbo.

i've used innovative turbos on my ex-cars. The one i used in my WRX was GTS66 (good up to 600hp) , and we used a GT76 on my friend's Supra (good up to 950 hp).
I've run around 1000 C degrees of EGT with my WRX as my internals were letting me to do so and boosted 28 psi with pump and to 34 psi with race gas. Used the car for 8000 miles till i bought the 350Z and parted out the WRX. Now we are installing this GTS66 turbo to a friends STI, it looks to be in perfect condition after 8000 miles.
PS: Let me clarify myself, the ti wheel is only on the comp side, on the exh side there is a billet aluminium wheel which is still very light. It is 03:44 AM here and i think i need some sleep. sorry for the wrong statement above.

If you want to keep the drive by wire and run a piggyback of some sort with the stock ECU then you must run twin stock TB's at a minimum. If you want to scrap the stock ECU and wire up a full stand alone along with running a single TB and throttle cable then that can be done too. There are no turbos that run titanium or aluminum turbine wheels. They will melt. The turbine wheels are probably inconel
OK OK OK..IMO looks are about number 10 on the list!...!st what are the numbers on it?...2nd When can I buy it...3rd were...4th When will a price be release. If I need to morgage my house i need to get the paperwork in order!!
