All we really know is how well your oil stood up after 3000 miles.

The other oils are synthetic...sorry. Hey at least I tried to get some data on the oil I use.

I think it's safe to say running synthetic, or in this case TN synthetic is good for at least 5000 miles. That's good to know.

I bet you can easilly get 7500 miles between oil changes with synthetics. BMW recomends 15,000 between oil changes. I ran my M3 as they proposed, and I never had any problems.

Well I think one of the key results was that the TS-1 had not just more additives active then other oils but it had more active additive left even AFTER 3000 miles then other oils. This is a good thing and shows how well the oil holds up since there was basically zero degredation in active additives, flashpoint, and viscoisty after 3000 miles.

good point.

since I got my TT ia have had Mobil, Castrol and AMSOil. All 3 held up very well.
And I am at the track usually at least once per week.
I'm sticking with AMSOil now because I signed up on the preffered customer list and am getting it at wholesale price and I have heard very good reports about it

I think the Turbonetics TS-1 is going to be my oil of choice once I can readily order it. However, it is 5w30 oil, and for a TT setup where the oil has to cycle through two turbos rather than one single, I think I'd go a a little heavier especially in the summer time.

As far as for the ST, however, TS-1 is my pick.
