Default 440 Injectors/Turbonetics w/out Return Fuel System

If I add 440 cc injectors to the stock TN kit without going with a return fuel system would the stock system with the TN mods allow power in the 420-440rwhp range?

Are their gains to be made by just adding the 440cc injectors?

I doubt you will see any gains from simply adding a larger injector, you may run richer throughout the RPM range.Depending how rich you may actually loos HP or foul plugs..

I should have clarified... 440 injectors a tune and increased boost. Maybe I shouldn't have thought that was obviuos. My bad. Soooo there is a lot to be gained from a larger injector if the fuel system is up to the task. The question is weather the fuel system is up to the task.

I think with a good tune with that setup you could see some pretty decent gains, the fuel system would give you more to work with of course, but with the bigger injectors it gives you more room to play with and by remembering your dyno graph before you put the exhaust on I think the tune would make a big difference depending on how much the exhaust changed the a/fs

Doable, but the tuning becomes trickier. Becuase your fuel pressure will essentially be dropping at the injector nozzle (due to the manifold pressure pushing back on the nozzle), without a rising rate FPR and return system, you will have to add excessive injector pulse width to compensate.

It's doable, for sure, but not ideal. I guess that is the best way to describe it.

Yes this is absolutely possible. It would basically be like tuning a Greddy TT kit without a fuel return. And sure they are definitely gains there.

No, not without a return setup.
