Vortech Drama (rattle..rattle) Continues.....need advice
just raise the idle i know what you mean tho you spend all that money and you just want you car done right that is the manin reason why i didnt get the that or the pro charger because of the noise it put out. so now im stuck with getting the stillen or ST and with ST there goes my warr.
you will lose your warrenty no matter what. I talked with my dealership and they said if they see my car with the sc they will not cover anything even if the sc wasnt the cause of the problem
That is not true for all dealerships as I just had my rear axle clicking fixed about 2 months ago and the fuel fill up issue fixed by my dealership. They took one look at my SC and said "ohh very nice piece of work you got there"
Jason,
check out this thread. Maybe this is your problem.

g8tor20...I hope you find your problem! I am assuming, given that you sent the unit to Vortech, but did you check the cog? In addition to the tension pulley problem I posted in a thread, several sections of COG on the belt were gone as a result of my pulley problem. Sounded like: rocks in a can or cooling system overheating and hearing the boiling.
g8tor20 - I actually thought of your situation when I read sungnamz's thread. Hope you find the problem. My situation is similar to yours, however, described similar in sound to sungnam's. "Hopefully" mine was installed incorrectly as well.
