Alberto.. I was saying I assume the run against the bike was on your street tires... not slicks? I only ask because I have seen pics of your car on a highway with it's slicks on.

It starts with him flying by, my passenger was trying to turn the camera on. As I go to get next to him I downshift, hit it, let off then we hit it at about the same time. Maybe one day we will line them up and start even, we both think I may have a slight edge, either way, no flames, Im not claiming my car is faster than bikes, just wanted to share some messing around...btw I think the bike sounds great.

Oh yeah it was on street tires. No sense is running slicks from a roll, all it would give me is a wobbly ride.

I was wrong for some reason I thought it was mid 90's its a 2002, here is the info....

"2002 F4i 8800 miles. Maryland

Devil carbon fiber highmount.
Undertail kit with LED lights,
tirehugger,
carbon fiber cateyes front/rear
carbonfiber framesliders,
yellow/carbonfiber grips (not installed)
carbon fiber tank guard
Tinted double bubble windscreen
updated CCT

oil changed every 1500-2000miles always used Honda OEM filter and GN4 oil.
bike would come with a new front tire not installed (current front tire still has some life left)

I'm not pressed to sell it , I love the bike and it does everything I need it to do. I just keep (wanting) a liter bike. I don't need one but goshgolly I want one."

I'm going to be hitting the dyno again this weekend. Hopefully I'll get a little closer to where you are. But, I doubt it since I'm running stock drivetrain and the fuji exhaust.

I'll post results (unless they suck). heh

Very nice setup! Can't wait to see the track results!

I have a question though. How did your throttle body "go bad"? I've never heard of this before and it seems odd!

It works now. Saw the vid.

You stole the hit BAD. From a highway roll that's death for a 600..even vs. a car that's slower than the bike.

If you get another chance run him again. I've run my lightly modded 2000 R6 against my car and under 100mph it wasn't pretty for the Turbo Z. Once the speeds get over 100..the bike starts to slow down a bit and the Z even started to make up ground around 130 or so. One of my good friends that I ride with was on my bike and I was driving my car.

BTW - my bike and than F4i are good for high 10s @ 125-128mph with a decent rider. I personally ran an 11.1@125mph with a slipping clutch when it was bone stock.

Yeah I knew I stole the hit plus was carrying momentum on top of that. If your Z had trouble getting by your bike then mine will seeing as how you make more power and sooner than me. Either way it was fun, it was the first time Ive even messed with a bike and not gotten pulled like I was in reverse. We will do it again hopefully, this time fair start....

Slick6MT-Ive heard from a few sources that 03' TB's are starting to go bad, they are different internally than the 05's and up, I dunno what exactly causes it though it was a bad coincidence it went bad when it did.
