Default Turbonetics reflash

Is there anyone on this board that does not have an issue with the TS reflash? My kit is coming in a week or so and Im considering the Utec to avoid any software issues, I just want to drive an enjoy the new power.

If you don't have an aftermarket exhaust which may introduce(not likely) overboosting, you'll be fine. An aftermarket plenum can increase a risk of a leak.
If you are stock, you should have no problem. I'd recommend to get a wideband and boost gauge and make sure you dyno before you beat on it.

There are TONS of people who have the flash and no issues. Theres over 50 members here with the Turbonetics kit. Very few have issues. And I have heard of NO issues on a otherwise stock car...

No problems with the flash at all and stock clutch is holding up well even after I have driven this beast hard.

i have a tn kit with relfash. no problems so far with that but i just had a problem with a weld cracking. Let me give you a peice of advice, before you put the uppipe on there. The uppipe welds near the wastegate should be welded stronger. Take it to a shop and tell them to add more welds ontop of the tn welds. Youll deff thank me later, i garauntee it. I just picked up another uppipe because my other one cracked right at the weld. and im most likely gonna get bigger welds put on this. Just a tip

oh and lastly, you shoulda bought another kit. APS or something cuz TN kinda blows in many aspects.

Hmmm. Thanks for the tip! Did turbonetics cover the up pipe?? That sucks that the TN kit has these problems.... I think I read another thread recently that also had a crappy weld in some piping from the TN kit...

well TN would only cover you if you are under 1 year warranty and if you are the originial owner. they didnt cover me cuz i bought the kit used from someone. So i paid a few hundred dollars. and thats just for the uppipe, the other pipe broke as well but i dont have enough money for 2 pipes so, im just gonna take the other broken pipe and run a open dump wastegate. Damn i cant to install this tomorow, its gonna be FUDGING LOOOOOOOOUD!!!. im excited.
