My Stillen Stage 4 Supercharger Mods Review :)
Quick ? Are any of the stage 4 cars having traction issues? The reason I ask is because I've been in a stage 2 car (5AT) with the stock 3.3 FD and another stage 2 car (5AT) with 3.9 FD. Both cars seem to be well planted, but the car with the 3.9 FD was a rocket. Would that be too much gear for stage 4?
I have Stage 3 with the oem final drive and 20's and I don't have any major traction issues.
With any stage you can't just floor it in first and you have to be careful in second but it should be ok. I think the 3.9 FD would be a waste of $ with a roots blower.

i have stage 2(just havent put the stage 3 pulley on yet)and i have traction issues.its prolly that i have 245/45/17 on the rear, but if im just cruising at about 30 an nail it in full auto the back end will just go sideways,i def need wider tires.i do also have the 3.5 6mt rear.

Would this Stillen setup be the best fit for an individual looking to use thier car as a daily driver? I am aware of the "ceiling" in power that one can reasonably get from this setup, but I don't think I want to join the race to 500hp+ club. In comparing the dyno's from the stillen against a centrifugal SC and turbo/twin turbo setups, the stillen looks like it would be a good fit for the daily driver as well as one who want's predictable power on a circuit track.
These are merely my limited observations thus far, now, onto another question...
Given the turbos dyno curve, with its peaks and valleys, and the centrifugal SC with its straight linear line of power (not getting full juice until the engine is howling), would the Stillen be considered one of the preferred setups for a weekend warrior looking to do some autocrossing and what not?
thanks,
ryan

I will be getting the re-tuned stage 4 timing box here shortly. AFter that, we will be able to see better power increase, as its running rich now. I'll be doing that the first of the month. Everyone else, who is getting the stage 4, is already getting it with the new re-tuned box, i was an early test, that found it was actually too rich. Still runs strong though!
I'll keep you all updated.

Mine is a daily driver. I do mostly city driving and it is a blast. It is the best setup for my lifestyle.
