when you get the turbonetecs st when it is reflashed does the rev limiter get raised.. and does the top speed limiter get removed?? thanks

 

No the flash raises idle to 1000, pulls timing so better a/f, and also allows ecu to see boost and not throw car in limp mode HOPEFULLY if you can hold boost at max9psi thats all the ecu can handle with out a ems that can clamp voltage.

 

I've heard of cars running over 10psi with the reflash. It's the injectors that limit it at that point though.

And yes, it does remove the top speed limiter.

 

Rev limiter not increased unless you are an 5AT car. ONLY 5AT cars get the revlimiter raised. As for boost the MAF at ambient pressure of 14.7:1 will read up to 13-14 PSI before it runs over voltage. Ambient temp was about 72 degrees during that test. The injectors however will not support that amount of boost. Speed governor is removed. Idle is set at 950
