I've seen the APS big fuel system and this runs a drop in twin fuel pump arrangement, it's a fully engineered and tested fuel system for monster twin turbo engines.

 

Dude seriously drop the act. I think we all know this is "George" from APS. And I think he was referrring to CJM's system not yours.

 

I think CJM is working on a dual intank solution. I am currently using GT Motorsports high capacity fuel system using an inline secondary fuel pump. Included with the kit is an upgraded underbody solid fuel feed line as well as a solid underbody fuel return line. Great but I think his question is when will a system be available for consumer purchase. You've been talking about your monster fuel system for over a year yet it's not available yet.

 

How much whp do you feel it will support, George?

Sharif, I don't know any tech details about the fuel system though I have seen the APS twin turbo Z Car with the monster fuel system dyno'd at 792 whp.

The CJM twin pump is on pause again. The focus is on finishing the intake manifold. We personally feel that while it can be worked around, the stock intake manifold setup is not ideal for the power levels a twin pump is required for. So we naturally decided to keep strict focus on completion of the intake manifold so that we have a good enough reason to go to such HP levels

The twin pump solution is not very difficult to engineer at all... especially if you know the OEM one inside and out.

The CJM one has been designed, its a matter of building the molds. Brandon, my business partner in CJM, is a plastic injection mold engineer who also happens to own several injection presses. Hes got over 10 years in the field experience. We are constucting our twin pump assembly OEM style using plastic injection molding so that our costs can pretty much blow anyone else out of the water who is using fabricated components. The plastic injection molding process will allow us to pump out the components very quickly and cost effectively to pass the savings on to our customers.

It is very high on our priority list, #2 to be exact. We just still dont feel there are enough potential clients yet drop what we are doing and finish it up. I am not sure that anyone has proven to build a 350z/G35 reliable enough to run a single walbro on the edge consistently, let alone require 2?

The final intake manifolds steps are being taking as i type this. I know I have been saying it time and time again, but very soon now we will move on to complete this.

 

Any idea on ETA? If you can uncover any details on its max flow rate/whp rating, that would be terrific.

 

May/June 06 release and the APS fuel system will be ideal for 800 - 900 whp, that all I've got for now.

I was just talking to them on the phone and they said that it still draws fuel from both sides of the tank and works just like OEM.

 

If you get a chance to talk to them again, ask them about why they make the below claim on their site:

I don't believe that if you add a second Walbro the output automatically doubles to 1000whp capability... At best, I think you'll get 750whp safely out of this system.

Hopefully the better informed/educated people will chime in on this one.

Who knows what it can really support, we will just have to wait and see. They are going out of town but i think im gonna give this setup a try when they get back in a week or two.

Im thinking with all the right plumbing it should be good for 850bhp tops, they said that with -10 lines and fuel rails it should be poosible to do 1000bhp, in theory.

I was asking about having a triple setup made but it cant be done and keep everything working right without some major reworking.
