if I'm not msitaken, pressure ratio also takes into account sea level pressure, which is also 14.7psi. Which would explain why Sharif said 2 bar. Only 14.7psi of boost, but an additional 14.7psi from sea level pressure.

2 Bar "pressure ratio" is 14.7psi on the manifold, as you have to account for atmospheric pressure. I know its confusing.

When people speak of the "amount" of boost they are runing, then 1Bar is correct.

My shop made 725 whp on methonal with those PE Turbos.... I would look into swaping for bigger IHI or Garrett turbos, Bigger FMIC as well... I'm not sure changing to a different kit especially a SFR kit is the right idea... If you want 800whp... You will have other issues.... Like a motor that can take it for a long time, not just today... I'd worry about head lift and gaskets and heat....
How much power do you want to make on Pump Gas? And how much on Race Gas?
If I was looking @ big Drag Power 800+ I would start out with a greddy, or JWT with 700BB option. Take note that if you are serious and you have the funds you will end up modifying most of the kit anyway... If you had the greddy you will end keeping the exhaust manifolds, IC and the basic pipes...

I tried finding someone who can upgrade the 1420's, but everyone says they can't. Do you know of anyone who can upgrade or do I need to find another IHI turbo?

I'm a big fan of the PE, had I not gone JWT TT, I would have gone PE. There are a hand full of guys that have made sick power out of those tiny 1420's As far as redoing the 1420's I don't think anyone can pull any more power out of them...
