Default Thinking of sell PE kit going for more powa!

I really thinking of selling the PE turbo kit. I really hate to sell this becuase in my opinion, it is one of the best out there in terms of spool, power, and overall realibility. My goals have recently changed. Instead of the 600rwhp I was seeking, now it is 800hp. I really want to know, if there is any kit out there that has an external wastegate setup and also utilizes ball bearing configuration. I know you can convert the Greddy kit to an external setup, but I don't want to go with there kit(nothing against them just don't like mitsubishi turbos plus there old in design). I can not remember the name of the company that has a new kit out(VRT or something like that), but I heard that it is a nice kit. Any info would be appreciated.

Do you mean JWT turbo kit? From what i've read and seen, the jwt kit has amazing spool charateristics and almost no lag from what some has said. Have you looked into the SFR kit by chance?

APS TT Couple people on the forums are making 800 FLYWHEEL HP and 700 whp with this kit on the stock turbos.

Personally I Have the Turbonetics kit with the t66 and am shooting for 650-700whp with external dumping wg

I'd say JWT custom kit using bigger turbos than the normal kit makes. the APS TT kti doesn't have large enough turbos for that kind of power IMO.

JWT and VRT are actually testing a 700BB turbo set-up right now from what I have heard. Should be a beast.

I have greddy the good thing of the greddy's turbo's is that they can be upgraded the bad thing is that they are not ball bearing your best option for your goal is the SFR kit with the ball bearing turbo's

APS is developing an "extreme" turbo kit that will do exactly what you want. Perhaps you should contact them.

With the custom SGP dump tubes my car hits full boost at 2800 rpm's. Not bad for not having ball bearing.

I don't remember what setting it was on, but Mark did a run and said,
"your car is hitting full boost at 2800rpm's. Shouldn't it hit full boost at the same place regardless of the boost setting? I never called SGP to email me my dyno charts because the car is just going to get retuned in a few weeks.

Correct, that's what I've been told also. The Extreme twin turbo system will have massive dual ball bearing turbos, external wastegates, huge intercooler, a very large fuel system with dual fuel pumps and fuel regs, twin fuel supply lines to the fuel rails and a full fuel return system, everything you need for a monster whp.

Don't let the "traditional" design of the Greddy turbos dissuade you from shooting for fast spooling high WHP applicatios. We've overlaid APS and Greddy pressure graphs against one another, and in some case, the Greddy's actually spooled faster. Of course, there are several factors that effect turbo spool up rates, but my point is the Greddy is no slouch when it comes to spool. I can hit 17psi at 3500-3800rpm, depending on gear and engine load.
The standard Greddy turbos have flowed upwards of 700whp, and I am actually upgrading mine to a TD06-60-1 which will support 1000whp+. 57lb/min worth of airflow at 2 bar pressure ratio (14.7psi).

George, the APS extreme system sounds nice. I am glad APS elected to use an external gated design, and a larger intercooler.

In regards to the JWT kit, it was engineered as a fast spooling trq monster, but not suitable for the 700whp+ crowd.
