Thanks bro...I'll look out for that....my temp never goes above the middle...But I'll keep an eye on it...

How many lbs are you boosting? This head lift issue has me scared chitless. Even though I am getting the HKS FCON, I am going to keep the boost down to no more than 11psi. If my car breaks down 1 more time my wife is going to throw me out of the house.

barthelb - when you had your problems did you notice any carbon flakes in your coolant? Specifically in the overflow resevoir?

i'm hoping it will be kind of an end all to strengthen the open deck and and make sure the heads will stay sealed.

No, there was none found. Although with the APS reservoir its kinda hard to see in there but a general look didn't find anything.

A guy I know was showing me a Supra block he was building . He showed me how he poured in this type of cement around the cyl. walls to straigthen them . The cement expanded at the same rate as the metal . Is that doable with our blocks ?

not for driving on the street. you kill the ability for the water to absorb the heat. this is a trick used by drag racers for years. but ONLY should be done on a all out strip car and never on the street.
